More women veterans are turning to the Veterans Transition House in search of assistance in getting back on their feet. A sign on the fireplace mantle reminds residents never to quit. Debbi Nickerson, a Navy veteran, has used the veterans transition house in her quest to intergrate back into mainstream after her first husband, both met in Navy, passed away.
