Mr. Toombs was first on the scene of a double stabbing on the third floor of the appartment complex he lives in. Residents at 11 Nye St. in the north end of New Bedford were given evacution notice after police and animal control officers entered the building to remove the various animals that were found on the first floor of the residence. The building was also the scene of a double stabbing on the third floor Saturday.
