Family and friends of Shannon O'Driscoll, a 24 year old Dartmouth woman who died after being struck by a car while campaigning for a ballot question to allow child care workers to unionize, plunge themselves into the fridgid waters at Gooseberry Neck in Westport in an effort to raise money for neediest families in Shannon's name.
