Elderly members of the Catholic social services (Mount Carmel church, Saint Johns Church and Santo Christo fall river) were given a treat at their yearly Christmas lunch held at Cafe Portugal on Acushnet Ave in the North End of New Bedford. Dartmouth High School students part of the Portuguese level 5 honors class got a chance to brush up on their Portuguese as they performed songs for the older Portuguese audience.
