A woman reaches up to touch the sacred heart on the painted Jesus as another exits her car to take a closer look. People wander over to Acushnet Avenue on March 24, 2009 in the north end of New Bedford to see the life-sized, full-length portrait of Jesus that mysteriously appeared early Sunday on the outside wall of a video store. No one knows who painted the figure.
