Surrounded by his family, Jean-Pierre Trahan salutes the casket of his son as it is taken from the Perry Funeral Home in New Bedford. The funeral of Navy Petty Officer Second Class Tyler J. Trahan, 22, who was killed while conducting combat operations in Iraq took place today May 13, 2009 at the Saint John Neumann church in Freetown, MA. He was later buried with full military honors at the Massachusetts National Cemetery at Otis Air Force Base in Bourne, MA.
