THIS ASSIGNMENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL OCTOBER.
I will be on assignment in Honduras between Jun 28 and July 5. My time in Honduras will be spent covering multiple stories I am working on. I will be covering a series of doctors providing medical assistance to villagers who have no direct access to medical care (some walk over 3 hours to visit these doctors/dentists from the mountainous regions). I will also be making my way to the poor villages themselves in an effort to bring to light the socio-economic factors that have pushed folks to immigrate northward. And finally (yes one week) this will be part of a much larger project I am working on (book) that will feature all of Central America. I hope to stay in touch through twitter (@pereiraphoto) but i am not sure what access to the internet I will have. Feel free to email me any questions.
