A relative of one of the victims is being controlled by court officers as he shouts at Mr. Valentin. Elvin E. Valentin, 60, was arraigned for double murder at the Third District court in New Bedford. Mr. Valentin is charged with two counts of murder following a double-shooting of Nettie Becht, 36 and Luis Diaz, 43, outside the Westlawn Housing Complex in New Bedford MA on Friday night.
