Scott Fryer of Northeast Windpower Corp. goes about assembling a 149 foot tall tower that will support an Aerostar 10 meter 10kw wind turbine high above Noquochoke Farm in Westport, MA. This is one of three wind turbines being installed on the property by Northeast Windpower Corp. using all components built in Massachusetts. George Smith owner of Noquochoke farm (which just celebrated its 110th anniversary last month) has been waiting for 3 years to install these wind turbines and says the units will greatly cut back on his current $1700/month electric bill.
