Mother of the victim Susan Medeiros, left, and victims sister Kim Larkin, react to a guilty verdict as it is read at Superior Court in New Bedford, MA.  Robert Roy was convicted of first degree murder in New Bedford Superior Court on February 25, 2010  in the slaying of his estranged wife, Larkin Roy, 24 years ago. Larkin Roy was 19 when she vanished while walking her dog in her Slocum Street, Acushnet, neighborhood.  Her remains were found in April 1990 by recreational divers in a submerged Dartmouth, MA quarry known as The Ledge.
