Neighbors look on as New Bedford firefighters put out the fire that started atop a Technical Drilling Services truck at a Hess gas station on Cove Rd in the south end of New Bedford. The crew of the truck was taking some soil samples at the back of the truck when the mechanism that tests for different compounds suddenly caught fire.
