Horseneck beach head lifeguard Bob Fitton scans the water with his binoculars as families enjoy a perfect beach day unaware of the shark sighting earlier in the day. Lifeguards at Horseneck beach in Westport MA were on high alert today after reports of a white shark spotting early in the morning. The beach was closed until lifeguards on jetskis were able to determine that the shark was no longer in the area.
