Teachers wait for children to be dropped off as Lisa Furtado gives her son Matthew Furtado, 5, a good luck hug as he prepares to go to the Cushman school for the first time. Kindergarden and pre-school students preprare for their first day at the Cushman school on Dartmouth St. in Dartmouth. This is the first time the school has been open in 3 years.
