The grille of the car that struck the State Trooper vehicle can be seen in the foreground while state oficials investigate the collision. A Massachusetts state trooper was injured while on detail when his cruiser was struck from behind on Interstate 195 West in Mattpoisett by a motorist who fell asleep at the wheel. The trooper was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
