Fellow 3rd graders and UMASS student Monica Goncalves, left, look on as Janice Mar, 9, tosses a recycled bottle cap onto recycled milk cartons in a game designed by Ms. Goncalves to help kids understand recycling. Students at the Kempton School on Shawmut Ave in New Bedford learned about recycling with the help of UMASS Dartmouh students who made games for the children to play using recycled goods.
