Zhihang Chen, 14 8th grade, focuses on solving the Rubik's cube. Students participate in the annual New Bedford Schools Mathcathlon event held at the Normandin Middle school. One of the three events is called the 'You Can Do the Rubik's Cube' requiring each competitor to solve n or more Rubik's cube puzzles. Rankings will be determined by the number of cubes correctly solved during the allotted time period.
