Carlos Raposa, 49, alone in his room grabs for the ashtray as he thinks of smoking a cigarette. Falling greater into depression since losing both legs below the knees to diabetes, Carlos finds himself smoking and drinking more in an effort to make time pass faster. His family is becoming more worried about Carlos who lives by himself and is unable to crawl back up onto his bed should he fall off. This is a project I've been working on living with diabetes.
