An emotional Joseph Ford salutes the flag being hoisted by Marine veteran Nelson Ostiguy in memory of his son who was killed in Iraq. Joseph Ford remembers his son L/Cpl. Michael L. Ford, 19, who was killed in Iraq on April 26, 2006 while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Al Anabr province, Iraq. Mr. Ford hoisted a flag in front of his home that was sent to him by a woman who had retrieved it at a memorial in California where a flag was flown for every soldier killed in Iraq. This is the flag flown in honor of his son.
