The Collings Foundation Wings of Freedom Tour brought historic WWII aircraft to New Bedford including the B-24 and the B-17G bombers and a P-51 Mustang fighter. WWII veterans including an emotional Clifford Dartt who walked around the B-17 bomber like the one he flew in during WWII and identical to the one that he was in when he was shot down over France, were joined by students from a local High School.
