Chanting Buddhist chants and beating a small drum, Brother Kato and fellow members of the New England Peace Pagoda make their way down Purchase St. in New Bedford during their walk in rememberance of the Fukushima disaster that occured one year ago in Japan. Their walk began at the Seabrook nuclear power plant in New Hampshire and will circumnavigate New England and finish at the Vermont Yankee Nuclear power plain in Vermont at the end of the month..
