An emotional Ronald Herbert (and 211th alumni) salutes the flag during the playing of taps at ceremony marking the 45th anniversary of the mobilization of the 1st Batallion, 221th Field Artillery National Guard unit who were mobilized during the Vietnam War. The ceremony was held at the Kennedy Building at Fort Taber Park in the south end of New Bedford.
