Troy Durr, a civil engineer with the city of New Bedford, walks past a bike of a cyclist taking a break at Fort Taber Park in New Bedford, as he uses a measuring wheel to determine the full distance of the new Blue Lane. The Blue Lane compromises the Covewalk, Harborview and Riverwalk bike/walk paths that circumvent the south end peninsula of New Bedford. This will be the first time that an accurate measurement will be made.
