Jamie Uretsky installs a piece she conceptualized and was executed with the help of New Bedford Art Museum staff. The piece which hangs from the skylight of the New Bedford art museum features cardboard cutouts of bird species indigenous to the area, tangled in nets, plastic bags and cans, to demonstrate some of the reasons the bird populations are in decline. This piece will be on display for the opening of the Audubon: Birds of the First Light & Longhouses on Friday.
