Surrounded by his family, Alfred William Sylvia Jr. 98, looks on as Christopher Azevedo, a veteran of the Navy during Desert Storm, and Army specialist in Iraq, becomes emotional after Mr. Sylvia spoke about a close friend he lost when the USS Dortch was attacked while in Tokyo Bay.  Mr. Azevedo lost close friends while serving in Iraq in 2005. Mr. Sylvia's daughter Dorothy Manny, right, listens to the stories of both men.  Mr. Azevedo who is the president of the Operation Uniforms United organization, which helps veterans, was instrumental in having Mr. Sylvia re-awarded his medals at a service held at Oxford Terrace in Fairhaven, MA.
