Fishermen attend the SMAST fishermen's safety training classes which include 2 new sub-classes. One of the new classes is Sinking Stability where the fishermen are trained to temporarily repair areas of the boat that are taking in water in an effort to prolong the seaworthines of the vessel. A fisherman attending the SMAST safety training session has help always seeing behind him.
