Jesse Peterson loads up his bike packs as he prepares to continue his journey northward. Jesse Peterson, 24, began his cross country bicycle trip in San Diego, Callifornia on March 1st and today finds himself in downtown New Bedford as he makes his way to Boston where he will catch a plane back home in time for his brothers graduation. The packs that carry his personal items attached to the back of his bicycle are the same packs that his parents used when they crossed the country on their bicycles back in 1979 to protest nuclear weapons.
