Liz Singleton offers her back so Kyla Carroll Vargas can sign the pettition to keep the Salvation Army on Acushnet Ave. in the north end of New Bedford open. The store is supposed to close next Thursday but Brockton branch of the Salvation Army has offered to turn it over to the New Bedford branch and keep it open.
