Children from the Rochester Elementary School were treated to a grand surprise today, when they walked into the schools gym to find a gigantic earth balloon that was brought to the school by the SEMAGNET (Southeast Massachusetts Geography Network) in an effort to help them learn geography.  The students were able to walk into the inflated globe and see the earth from the inside while getting a lesson from Rosalie Sokol, the globe lady, on geography.  3rd grades are happy to use their laser pointers to point out items on the globe looming above them.
