Military Ball class 09. The New Bedford High School JROTC cadets celebrated their 128th military ball. The program which began in 1881 has the distinction of being the longest running JROTC program in the country and the yearly ball is the culmination of a year filled with joy and hardship (this group lost a member of their class who passed away mid way through year). The ball is a cacophony of military regiment and youngster's just plain having fun.
