A fire broke out in the maintenance structure on the roof above the 10th floor of the Tripp Towers in the south end of New Bedford, MA. The elderly residents of the building were evacuated to buses until the extent of the damage was evaluated. Some of the residents from the top floor will be have to be relocated. No one was hurt.
