A crew from A. Walecka & Sons movers take down the cenotaphs from the South facing wall of the Seamen's Bethel in downtown New Bedford in preparation for much needed repairs to the wall. After removing the cenotaphs custom crates were made to put the historic pieces in storage until the walls are ready for them to return.
