Whaling Museum librarian Michael P. Dyer begins the labor intensive task of cataloguing and moving the close to 2000 books that have been added to the colleciton. The Whaling Museum library came upon a treasure when New Bedford Demolition and Salvage found close to two thousand old (1825 earliest) Merchants National Bank books at the now United Way building's attic.
